Former Argentine tennis player Juan Martin del Potro will be the strategic advisor to the Miami Padel Club in the newly started American Pro Padel League.

Ronnie Strasser, the owner of the Miami Padel Club team of the North American Pro Padel League, has announced the incorporation of Argentinean star Juan Martin del Potro as a strategic advisor to his ownership group.

The former tennis player will be part of the South Florida franchise, which will debut when the league begins in May.

"I am very pleased to welcome Juan Martin on board at Miami Padel Club. His knowledge and passion for the sport will be essential to increasing awareness and understanding about Padel," said franchise owner Ronnie Strasser.

Del Potro, 34, retired from professional tennis in February 2022 following a series of injuries to his wrists. Throughout his career, the Argentine harvested over twenty titles, including the U.S. Open in 2009, the Davis Cup in 2016, and two Olympic medals in 2012 and 2016, becoming the number three player globally.
