After Paquito´s break: Here are all ten new couples
In recent weeks, a lot has happened in the world elite in padel after the separation of Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello. Many rumors and speculations have appeared in the media.
Padel Alto clarifies who is pairing up in the future.
Paquito Navarro/Federico Chingotto
Not long after Paquito Navarro's separation from Juan Tello, Padel Alto reported via sources that Navarro's next partner will be Federico Chingotto. The Spanish site Relevo confirmed that the couple was ready to play together.
The news is not yet official, but everything indicates that Paquito Navarro and Federico Chingotto, who has trained a lot together and are based in the same place in Madrid, will play together. And the players will soon announce the partnership, starting at the Granada Open.
Federico Chingotto thus leaves Javi Garrido.
Juan Tello/Alex Ruiz
At the same time, sources have reported that Juan Tello and Alex Ruiz are becoming a couple. Argentinian website Olé then revealed that it is confirmed and the couple will make their first start at the Granada Open.
Alex Ruiz has officially announced his break with Momo Gonzalez.
Javi Garrido/Jon Sanz
Javi Garrido, who Federico Chingotto left, will play with Jon Sanz from now on. This means that Sanz leaves the talent, Javi Leal, after a short collaboration.
The pair have announced their break on social media.
Momo Gonzalez/Mike Yanguas
Momo Gonzalez will play with the young Spaniard Mike Yanguas. This is another Malaga pairing, just like his previous collaboration with Alex Ruiz.
The pair will start playing together already for the next WPT 500 in Reus. Mike Yanguas thus leaves his short collaboration with Alex Arroyo.
Javi Leal/Juan Belluati
Javi Leal and Juan Belluati have announced their new collaboration. The pair will make their debut at the Reus 500 tournament.
Belluati leaves his partnership with Miguel Lamperti.
Miguel Lamperti/Tino Libaak
There is a 27-year gap between the young Tino Libaak and the legendary Miguel Lamperti. As with Arturo Coello, Lamperti is taking the young talent under his wing in his first year on the World Padel Tour.
Libaak thus leaves his partnership with the talent Leo Augsburger. Together they reached the final of the La Rioja Open earlier in the season.
Leo Augsburger/Javi Rico
Leo Augsburger revealed to Padel Alto that his new partner will be Javi Rico, who leaves Jorge Ruiz.
"It is confirmed that I will play with Javi Rico. With Pablo (Crosetti), we consider it the best option”, Augsburger said in the interview with Padel Alto.
They will make their debut in the Granada Open.
Alex Arroyo/Pablo Cardona
Mike Yanguas left Alex Arroyo after a short collaboration. But Arroyo managed to find a real bargain in young 18-year-old talent Pablo Cardona, who has made a big impact this year alongside Ivan Ramirez.
Cardona leaves Ramirez after only five tournaments. The new couple will debut in this week's Reus 500 competition.
Ivan Ramirez/José Rico
Ivan Ramirez did not take the break from Pablo Cardona in the best way and said, among other things, that he could not go into other people's heads about the decision.
His new partner is now José Rico. The pair will make their debut in the next World Padel Tour 500 in Reus. The couple enters as 4th-seeded.
Thus, José Rico leaves the partnership with Salva Oria.
Jorge Ruiz/Salva Oria
Salva Oria will play with Jorge Ruiz from now on. The pair will make their debut as the eleventh-seeded couple in the Reus 500 competition.
