ANNONS

Agustin Tapia-Arturo Coello and Gemma Triay-Alejandra Salazar are the first pairings to book their tickets to Sunday's final.

After the first two semifinals of the World Padel Tour Paraguay Open, we already know the first teams that will be looking for the title tomorrow.

Women's draw

In the women's draw, Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar gave a real power display after knocking out Marta Ortega and Bea Gonzalez, who were their opponents in the final of the La Rioja Open, in two sets.

Triay and Salazar gave their opponents no chance, and from the start of the match they took control of the game. After taking the first set 6-2, the number one seeds swept their opponents off court in the second, taking the match in less than an hour.

It was 6/2 6/0 for Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar to reach their ninth consecutive final. Tomorrow, they will face the winners of the match between Paula Josemaría and Ariana Sánchez vs Delfina Brea and Sofía Araujo.

Men's draw

Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello continue to show their great momentum. The world number two pairing reached their fifth consecutive final (in five tournaments played), after defeating Ruiz and Gonzalez, 6/4 6/2.

The Spanish/Argentine pairing were extremely effective in the first set, taking advantage of the opportunities they had, and then crowned it with an almost perfect second set. Coello and Tapia will face the winners of the match between Stupaczuk/Di Nenno and Chingotto/Garrido tomorrow.
