The twist: Augsburger and Libaak get a place at the Paraguay Open

ANNONS

Young Argentineans Tino Libaak and Leo Augsburger will have their farewell tournament in Paraguay. After dropping out of the main draw, the young couple will enter the competition as Lucky Loosers.

After the great success of the talented 17 and 18-year-olds at the La Rioja Open - where they became the youngest couple to reach a World Padel Tour final - Tino Libaak and Leo Augsburger announced their separation.

Tino Libaak will play with Argentine legend Miguel Lamperti, while Leo Augsburger confirmed to Padel Alto that he will share the court with Valencian Javi Rico.

Everything seemed to indicate that the tournament in Argentina had been the last performance of the couple, but destiny wanted the Augsburger-Libaak duo to have a "last dance."

Despite not having qualified for the World Padel Tour Paraguay Open through the qualifying rounds, the young stars will finally have their farewell on the court: The Argentineans benefited from the many casualties in the main draw and will enter the tournament as the Lucky Looser couple.

The duo will debut in the competition this Tuesday, although, after the changes in the list of participating pairs, the tournament organizers have not yet released the updated schedule.
