Coello and Tapia put an end to the "Pibes" dream

ANNONS

Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia were crowned champions of the World Padel Tour Open de La Rioja, after beating in the final the revelation couple of the tournament, Tino Libaak and Leo Augsburger, by a resounding 6/1 6/0.

The dream is over for the 17- and 18-year-old Argentinean stars Tino Libaak and Leo Augsburger. Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia were a steamroller in the La Rioja Open Final, taking the title in less than an hour.

Coello and Tapia jumped out on court absolutely determined to take the match. The number two seeds were too much for the Argentinean "Pibes", who couldn't do anything to stop the gale of padel unleashed by their rivals, who clinched the first set by 6/1 in just 23 minutes.

Augsburger and Libaak tried in vain to come back, but Tapia and Coello were far superior. The Spanish-Argentine pair gave no chance to the young stars, who saw the dream of the championship slip through their fingers.

The final result was 6/1 6/0, for Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia to win their second consecutive title after two tournaments this season.
