The talented young Argentine duo defeated Maxi Sanchez and Lucas Campagnolo in two sets in the quarterfinals of the La Rioja Open.

Libaak and Augsburger did it again. The young Argentine pairing continues to surprise the padel world as they advance at the World Padel Tour La Rioja, and they are already in the semifinals of the tournament.

This Friday, in the quarterfinals, the 17- and 18-year-old stars became the first "Wild Card" couple to reach the semis of a World Padel Tour Open Championship after defeating Maxi Sanchez and Lucas Campagnolo in two sets by 6/3 7/5.

The fast court conditions in La Rioja made it impossible for Sanchez and Campagnolo to counter their opponents' aggressive play. Libaak and Augsburger dominated the first set convincingly, to finish it off with a single break in the second.

"It's incredible for us to be playing in a place like this against Maxi. I've always watched him since I was a kid. He's from my city and he's a great reference to many people. To play against him is something I really enjoyed. I'm thrilled," said Tino Libaak after the match.

This Saturday, the Argentinean "Pibes" will face the two local veterans Miguel Lamperti and Juan Cruz Belluati, looking to become the first finalists of the World Padel Tour La Rioja Open.
