In front of a packed “Superdome” in La Rioja, the young Argentinean stars Tino Libaak and Leo Augsburger became the first "Wild Card" couple to reach a World Padel Tour final, after beating Lamperti and Belluati in two sets.

In the first semifinal of the men's draw, the pair of veterans Miguel Lamperti and Juan Cruz Belluati faced the sensation of the tournament, the very young Tino Libaak and Leo Augburger, 17 and 18 years old.

The young Argentinean stars came into the match full of confidence after beating three former world number ones players in the previous rounds.

Libaak and Augsburger didn't have a great start, and Lamperti and Belluati used their experience to take a lead. Nevertheless, the young Argentinean pair was able to rally and even out the score to win the first set in the tie-break.

In the second part, the Argentinean "Pibes" imposed their game again. They displayed all their attacking power and took the set by 6/3, unleashing the madness of the Argentine fans.

Tomorrow, in the grand final, Tino and Leo will look to continue making history when they face the winner of the match between Coello/Tapia and Di Nenno/Stupaczuk.
