Young Argentine Wild Card pair surprised again — now face Paquito and Tello

The young Tino Libaak and Leo Augsburger made the first surprise of the WPT La Rioja Open after beating legends Juan Martin Diaz and Agustin Gomez Silingo in two sets.

After the many withdrawals - and the controversies surrounding the tournament in its first days - it was time for the first surprise at the WPT La Rioja Open.

The young Argentinians Tino Libaak and Leo Augsburger, who had performed excellently at the last Buenos Aires Master, surprised everyone again with their aggressive and casual padel style.

The couple, who entered the tournament through a Wild Card, would not waste their chance. Libaak and Augburguer gave an actual demonstration of their potential by eliminating legends Juan Martin Diaz and Agustin Gomez Silingo in the first round of the tournament by a double 6/4 in just over an hour of play.

The duo got their pass to the round of 16 of the tournament, where Juan Tello and Paquito Navarro are waiting for them, who will indeed be looking for their revenge after not having the best start of the season.
