Couple split after three weeks of competition: "Tough weeks"
The Spanish-Argentine pair of Nacho Sager and Aris Patiniotis have announced their separation after just three weeks of competing together.
Shortly before the start of the 2023 season, the first splits in the professional circuit are already beginning to appear.
After starting to play together in January this year, Argentine Aris Patiniotis and Spanish Ignacio "Nacho" Sager have announced their separation.
"Nacho and I have parted ways after this tournament. I wish you all the best. Hard weeks of tournaments and travel, but with a good feeling and positivity to return to compete and beat great couples," wrote the Argentine on his social networks after the couple was eliminated in the third round of qualifying for the WPT Paraguay Open.
The duo, led from the bench by Mati "The Warrior" Diaz, competed in the qualifying rounds of the World Padel Tour tournaments in La Rioja (round 2), Chile (round 4) and Paraguay (round 3) without reaching the main draw. On the Premier Padel circuit, the pair fell in the first round at the Qatar Major held last week.
The players have yet to reveal who they will be partnering with for the remainder of the season.
