Germany is one step behind many other European countries in opening padel centers. 
But in 2023, a rooftop padel club is opening in central Berlin. 

The project is the work of Dominowa, a Berlin-based design agency whose photos show three courts on the roof of an industrial building in the Ostbahnof district of central Berlin. 

”This club is meant to be a hub for Padel lovers and families alike, promoting healthy living in the heart of Berlin,” writes the company in a post on Instagram. 

The center will have 11 courts, including three on the rooftop. Their website also states that a nearby building has already transformed its rooftop into a football pitch. 

”As a result, we are converting an unused rooftop into one of Germany's most remarkable Padel clubs.”
