Premier Padel kicks off 2023 season — Qatar Major begins

The Premier Padel circuit officially kicks off its season with the first Major of the year: the Ooredoo Qatar Major 2023.

Once again, the Premier Padel season starts in the Middle East with the Ooredoo Qatar Major.

The world's best couples will meet at the Khalifa Complex in Doha, an outdoor stadium with a capacity of more than 7,000 spectators.

The tournament, of the highest category within the circuit, will distribute 525,000 euros in prize money and will award 2,000 FIP points to the winning pair.

The first round begins on Tuesday and will be played on five courts simultaneously from 14:00h (Local). Only the eight seeded couples will be exempt from participating in the opening day, and will make their debut in the round of 32 on Wednesday.

The Ooredoo Qatar Major will be broadcast live around the world in more than 180 territories on the likes of ESPN/Star+ (South America, Central America, Mexico and Caribbean), Sky Sports (Italy, UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland), beIN SPORTS (MENA, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey), Viaplay (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and the Netherlands), Charlton TV (Israel), YouTube Premier Padel (Spain), SuperSport (Sub-Saharan Africa), Canal+ (France & other global territories).
