The number ones are set for Sunday's grand finale

The world number one pairing struggled to reach the final of the World Padel Tour Abu Dhabi Master.

Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan managed to win a fantastic semi-final match against Di Nenno and Navarro, in which they battled for more than two and a half hours to get their ticket to Sunday's final.

The “Superpibes” displayed a superlative level of padel. The Argentinean couple took advantage of the only opportunity they had in the first set to take the lead. But the number one's reaction came in the second part, and the Spaniards could turn the score around - as they had done throughout the tournament - to finally take the match 5/7 6/4 6/3.

"Franco and Martin are a great couple and it's very difficult to fight them on the court. Our goal is always to be at the top, and today we got a great victory in our version of couple 4.0," said Juan Lebron.

Tomorrow, Lebron and Galan will have the arduous task of facing the talented youngsters Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello, the number two seeded couple, in the final of the Abu Dhabi Master.
