The shock: Paquito and Tello knocked out in the first round

Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello started the season at its worst. 
Today, they were knocked out in the first round of WPT Abu Dhabi Master against Rubio and Javi Ruiz.  

The semi-final seeded team containing Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello failed badly in their encounter against the newly composed pair, Javi Ruiz and Gonzalo Rubio. 

Paquito Navarro was left by Martin Di Nenno last season and then decided to ask Juan Tello if he wanted to start a new project where Paquito plays at the forehand position.

After some unsuccessful efforts at the end of last season, many thought that the Spaniard would be keen to go back to his backhand position again. But no, and this season started at its worst.

The match against Rubio and Ruiz ended 4-6, 5-7.

Play is now suspended due to the humidity in Abu Dhabi. Earlier in the day, Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello had some problems advancing but won both sets in a tiebreak against Javi Garcia and Javi Barahona.
