The newly formed pairing of Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello had a tough debut match at the WPT Abu Dhabi Master, where they managed to win by a tight 7/6 7/6 against Garcia and Barahona.

In the first shift of the afternoon of the WPT Abu Dhabi Master, came one of the most awaited debuts of the circuit. The number two couple of the tournament, Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello, made their presentation in the last 32 against Spaniards Javier Barahona and Javier Garcia.

The match started evenly, with Tapia and Coello looking for their position on court. Barahona and Garcia were very solid, and, without allowing their opponents to take the lead, they managed to take the first set to a tie-break, where Tapia and Coello finally prevailed.

Barahona and Garcia continued to be very focused on the second set, putting the number two pairing in trouble. Neither pair could get the advantage, and the match was defined again in the tie break. The Spanish/Argentine pairing took a hard-fought victory, 7/6 7/6 in one hour and 47 minutes of play.

"We have a lot of things to learn, but we still managed to win. The happiness is double. We have to spend more time together on the court. This will be a long process," said Agustin Tapia after the match.

Tapia and Coello will face the winner of the match between Capra/Gutierrez and Bueno/Quilez this Thursday for the round of 16.
