On the second day of the A1 Cape Town Masters, an accident with one of the glass panes of the court had the competition at a standstill for several minutes.
An unusual accident occurred in the match between Zuazua/Martínez and Melgratti/Chiostri, on the second day of the A1 Padel Cape Town Master.
The breakage of one of the glass panes at the back of the court occurred when Oier Zuazua leaned on it, causing it to explode.
The rupture caused a scare among the public and the players themselves, but fortunately, there were no casualties.
After a break for repairs, the game continued, and Zazua-Martinez took the surprise victory by 6/4 6/4.
