These are the qualifiers for the WPT La Rioja Open

The qualifying rounds of the WPT La Rioja Open (Argentina) ended on Sunday and the pairings that made it through to the main draw are now known.

This Sunday ended the qualifying rounds for the first World Padel Tour tournament in South America: La Rioja Open, in Argentina.

Four pairs in the women's draw and four pairs in the men's draw won at the Euroindoor club in Madrid the coveted ticket to the main draw, which will give them the possibility to be in the second tournament of the season.

Men’s draw

After four rounds in which 48 pairs participated, the four pairs that made it into the tournament were:

• Ivan Ramirez - Pablo Cardona
• Facundo Dominguez - Javier Valdez
• Jose Solano - Luis Hernandez
• José Jiménez - Jaime Fermosell

Women’s draw

In the women's draw, 24 pairs competed in three rounds. At the end, 4 direct passports were awarded for the tournament in Argentina:

• Carolina Orsi – Lea Godallier
• Lorena Alonso – Sandra Hernandez
• Agueda Perez - Sara Ruiz
• Emily Stellato - Giulia Sussarello

The eight pairs will take part in the Argentinean tournament, which will be held from 6 to 12 March at the Superdomo stadium in the city of La Rioja.
