The news of Brazilian Pablo Lima's decision to retire as a professional player brought many reactions from his colleagues and former partners.
One of them was the current world number one Alejandro Galan, who shared the court with Lima in 2019, winning 4 titles.
Galan, wrote a heartfelt post on his social networks, thanking the Brazilian legend for the time shared as a team:
"Today you have announced 2023 as your last season competing. I am proud to have accompanied you on some of your long journey, and to have shared the track with a No. 1 like you."
And he continues:
"Thank you for choosing me at that time and although it was short, it was an exciting period. You have been, are and will be a reference for those who love this sport. I wish you a last year full of success and joy. We will enjoy you to the fullest, because we are going to miss you"
