Here are the first qualifiers for the South African Master
After a weekend of qualifying events in America, Europe and Africa, the first pairings to book their tickets for the tournament that will kick off the 2023 season of the A1 Padel circuit are now known.
One of the great novelties of the new A1 Padel season, the international multi-venue qualifiers, has been launched with the start of the A1 Padel Cape Town Master previous rounds in Madrid (European qualifier), Buenos Aires (South American qualifier) and South Africa.
Local pair Hilarides/Blakey-Milner booked their place in the main draw with a 6/1-7/5 win over Adams/Van Harte.
In Argentina, the Padel Center club was the venue where the qualifiers for the first tournament of the season were Maier/Rivero and Rivero/Di Francesco.
Meanwhile, the European venue was the euroindoor in Madrid, where Caiano/Ramos, Gonzalez/Cheda and Blanco/Sanchez booked their tickets to the tournament.
The main draw of the Cape Town Master will begin on 13 February, at the Camps Bay Sports Club, and will award USD 110,000 in prize money.
