The Silly Season ahead of 2023 has been anything but quiet. In addition to the many partner changes, things have also happened on the sponsor side. Padel Alto´s Filip Björne lists the most exciting sponsor signings ahead of the new season. 

9. Jorge Ruiz, from Starvie to Set Padel

Comment: Jorge Ruiz is 39th in the world and a good signing from the new venture Set Padel from the more accomplished Starvie that the Spanish backhand player previously represented. 

He is a solid main-round player but has big problems moving on from the first rounds. It will be interesting to see if the switch to Set provides a fresh start.
