PPA closes its first sponsorship deal

The recently created player’s association (PPA) has closed with the court brand Padel Galis (WPT official court) its first sponsorship contract.

The Professional Padel Association and Padel Galis have reached a partnership agreement , in which the players will be in charge of advising on the creation of a padel court that will be used as the official court of the PPA.

"It is very important that the players can contribute our opinion and experience when it comes to developing a court model and grass that we feel comfortable and safe with. At the end of the day, we are talking about our workplace and we want the best conditions on the court," said world number one Ale Galan, president of the PPA.

Padel Galis is one of the leading companies in the design and manufacture of padel courts around the world. The brand is the official court of WPT, as well as having agreements with major firms such as Wilson.

The Valencian company thus becomes the first global sponsorship agreement reached by the association of professional padel players after its recent creation. 

"This agreement is to show the commitment of our company to the needs of professional players in the evolution of padel courts and continue to lead the market in innovation as manufacturers of padel courts," said Fran Perez Galisteo, founder of Padel Galis.
