Last weekend Italy's first Padel fair was held in Milan, Trend Expo. A total of 18,000 people attended over three days in padel-crazy Italy.

Italy is one of the countries where padel is growing the most right now. In 2022, two successful Premier Padel tournaments were held in the country, a Major in Rome at the classic Foro Italico and a P1 tournament (a lower-ranked competition) in Milan.

Last weekend also saw the first padel fair in the country at the Allianz MiCo congress center in Milan.

This event was also a great success; a total of 18,000 people attended the event over three days, from the 13th to the 15th of January. This is announced in a press release by Next Group, the organization behind Padel Trend Expo.

Next Group organized the fair in collaboration with the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation and the Milan City Council's patronage.

More than 100 exhibitors were present, together with professionals like Martin Di Nenno, Mike Yanguas, Gonzalo Rubio, Mati Diaz, Veronica Virseda, Jessica Castello, Lucas Bergamini, and Tolito Aguirre.

In recent years, padel in Italy has grown explosively. There are now 7,000 courts and 1 million players in the country.
