American league PPL announces their first Mexican team

The Pro Padel League (PPL) – North America’s first professional Padel League – announce their fourth team. the All4Padel Club has been named the league’s first team in Mexico.

The first team from Mexico in PPL will be based in the city of Cancun and Oswaldo Torre will be the team’s director. 

Torre is the Owner and the creator and Owner of the All4Padel Club in Mexico. 

“We are thrilled to partner with the PPL to establish the country’s first team in Cancun,” says Oswaldo Torre, in a press release by the league. 

Marcos del Pilar, Commissioner of the PPL: 

”I am so proud that the country where Padel originated will now have its first PPL team”. 

And continues: 

“We are happy to partner with groups like All4Padel Club led by Oswaldo Torre to bring the Pro Padel League to Cancun. Our league is committed to celebrating the sport's Spanish and Latin heritage, so this new franchise is an
important milestone for us.”

The Cancun team joins a team from Los Angeles, San Diego, and Miami to make up the PPL's four teams so far. More teams will be announced shortly, the organization announced. 

About the Pro Padel League

The Pro Padel League (PPL) is North America’s first professional Padel Teams league. The PPL’s mission is to create a premier sports league providing a national stage for the sport while generating nationwide awareness and excitement for Padel as it continues to grow across North America. The PPL’s high-octane team competition will kick off in the Spring of 2023 with six teams or more and conclude with the PPL CUP, where the four best teams will compete for the title. During the first season, each team will consist of two male and two female players and will follow the international scoring format.
