Dubai opens the largest indoor centre in the Middle East
Danube Sports World, an inflated dome-shaped sports centre with more than 200,000 square feet, opened in Dubai, making it the largest indoor sports centre in the Middle East.
The host country of the last World Cup continues to bet heavily on padel, becoming one of the sports with the largest number of practitioners, turning into an unstoppable phenomenon.
Just a month ago, the Danube Sports complex, the largest indoor sports centre in the Middle East, was inaugurated in Dubai.
The high-end sports centre near Al Habtoor has more than 200,000 square feet and 25-metre high ceilings. Under controlled temperatures, you can play various sports besides padel, such as football, tennis, cricket, table tennis and badminton.
“We constantly try to innovate by incorporating new ideas into action – that leads to creating new business verticals to help our clients,” Rizwan Sajan, Chairman and Founder of Danube Group, said.
And he continues:
“Danube Sports World is an innovative idea that has now been executed to benefit our clients. There is a big demand for such facilities. However, only a few have set up indoor sports facilities, which are small compared to the existing demand.”
The inflated dome-shaped centre has all the facilities for more than 100 players to come together to play sports. The courts are equipped with broadcasting cameras for the matches, medical assistance clinic and a referee service.
Danube Sports World will partner with Emirates Padel Centre to introduce the Bela Padel Concept in Dubai, the brand of the "Boss" Fernando Belasteguin.
