Fabrice Pastor: APT will hold three tournaments in the USA next season

ANNONS

The owner of the APT Padel Tour, Fabrice Pastor, announced some of the new venues that will host the circuit next season, aiming to explore new and promising markets.

The 2022 season has been a season of significant growth for the APT Padel Tour. The circuit has held 15 events throughout the year, visiting eight countries in three continents.

In an interview with the Spanish programme "Una vibora para cenar", Fabrice Pastor, owner of the circuit, made a positive assessment of the season that ended in Guadalajara with the Master Final.

More tournaments and new venues

The Monegasque businessman announced that for next season the APT is planning a tighter tournament schedule. Pastor revealed that eleven events have already been confirmed for the first half of the year, with returning venues and many new ones to be announced soon.

In Argentina, a new Open category tournament will be held in the city of Lomas De Zamora, and in Europe, new countries such as Greece, Italy and France (Côte d'Azur) have been advanced as venues for 2023.

Pastor confirmed that the successful Cape Town Master will be repeated next season, although he hinted that a new country would be added to host the circuit on the African continent.

Opening new markets

Through an agreement with US promoter Ike Franco (owner of the NY Yankees), the circuit will expand into one of the most promising markets: The United States. Pastor confirmed the circuit will hold three tournaments in iconic venues in New York City, Miami and (possibly) Las Vegas.
