They decide to part ways: “We formed an incredible team”

Spain's Jessica Castello and France's Alix Collombon have announced the end of their partnership, after more than two years sharing the court.

A new breakup arrives on the women's professional circuit. The world number 11 pair, Jessica Castello and Alix Collombon, have decided to split up.

The Spanish player was the one who made the announcement official through her social networks: 

"You trusted me from the first moment and never blamed me for anything. You always encouraged me and gave me so much. We made an incredible team, one that many would like to have," said Castello.

The French-Spanish pairing started playing together in December 2020, more than two years ago, and together they achieved two WPT Challenger titles in 2021.

Neither player has yet announced who will be their new partner for next season.
