Finland joins the 2023 WPT calendar

The city of Tampere, in Finland, will host next season an Open category tournament of the World Padel Tour circuit.

World Padel Tour continues to expand its borders, announcing new venues for its 2023 calendar. 

The circuit confirmed that next season, Finland will be added as a location, making it the northernmost country to host a padel tournament.

The chosen city is Tampere, where in June this year an exhibition was held with the participation of great players such as Sanyo Gutierrez, Franco Stupaczuk, Juan Tello, Ariana Sanchez, Paula Josemaria or Lucia Sainz among others.

Thus, the Nordic country will host from August 30 to September 3, 2023, a WPT Open category tournament for the first time in its history.
