Alejandro Galan and Alejandra Salazar won the best player of the year when the Spanish site PadelSpain organized the annual World Padel Awards in Madrid. 

164,326 votes were received for this year's World Padel Awards, organized by the Spanish site PadelSpain. 

Alejandro Galan and Alejandra Salazar won the award for best player of the season. 

Galan and Juan Lebron have dominated this season and are clear ones for the season. Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay have won 11 tournaments this season. Despite this, they are second in the Race of 2022 behind Ari Sanchez and Paula Josemaria. 

This year's coach of the year was Alejandra Salazar, and Gemma Triay's coach was Rodri Ovide, who also won the World Cup with Argentina's men's team and coached Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno.
