They strike again — knocking out top pair

ANNONS

Victor Ruiz and Lucas Bergamini are through to the quarter-finals in Milan. Last week they knocked out Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello. Now it was the turn of Pablo Lima and Franco Stupaczuk.

Spaniard Victor Ruiz and Brazilian Lucas Bergamini are in great form. After last week's success in Mexico, where the team pulled off a surprise against Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello, they struck again against another top pair.

This time it was Bergamini's national team colleague Pablo Lima who, along with Franco Stupaczuk, the pair defeated.

It is believed that Ruiz and Bergamini are now through to the quarter-finals of the P1 tournament in Milan, which will also be the pair's last of the season as neither player has qualified for the World Padel Tour's Master Final in Barcelona.

Last tournament

For Pablo Lima and Franco Stupaczuk, it's time to reload for Barcelona. For 2023, Stupaczuk will team up with Martin Di Nenno and Lima with Coki Nieto, and the Master Final will be the pair's last tournament.

Tomorrow, Victor Ruiz and Lucas Bergamini face off against the winner of the Lucho Capra/Maxi Sanchez and Victor Mena/Fede Mourinho clash. Capra and Sanchez are the favorites to go through.
