ANNONS

One of the world's oldest football clubs, Notts County, has opened a padel centre. The Nottingham Padel Centre has already opened for people to play for free and has four outdoor courts.

The classic football club founded in 1862 in Nottingham now also focuses on padel.

”We have been very encouraged by the level of interest and positive comments on the project, which unfortunately experienced delays due to supply issues. As a gesture of appreciation for your patience, we have decided to make play free of charge for the remainder of the calendar year”, writes the club on its website.

Notts County is the second best team in the city and is located at the top of the National League, the fifth best league in the English system. Neighbours Nottingham Forest are in the Premier League.

They also announced on their website that anyone can play for free on the four courts until 2022.
