Fernando Belasteguin and Arturo Coello beat Agustin Tapia and Sanyo Gutierrez in the final of the Mexico Major. The Boss and Arturo won the final by 6/3 3/6 6/3, to claim their first title in the Premier Padel circuit.

After a week with many complications due to the weather, which forced to reschedule most of the rounds of the tournament, finally came the final of the last Major of the season of the Premier Padel circuit.

In an unprecedented final, Agustin Tapia and Sanyo Gutierrez faced Fernando Belasteguin and Arturo Coello. Both pairings arrived after having played their semifinal matches just a few hours earlier.

The encounter started better for Belasteguin and Coello, who came into the match more focused. The Spanish-Argentine pairing found a break at the beginning of the match, a difference that was enough to take the first set by 6/3.

Tapia and Gutierrez didn't wait too long to show their reaction and took advantage of a moment of confusion from Bela, who made three unforced errors in a row, to take the lead in the second set and level the score at one. But in the final set, the figure of Arturo Coello emerged. The Spaniard became strong at the net to dominate his rivals and take the title of champions in the fourth Major of the Premier Padel season.

"It was a hard week for everyone, the players made a great effort to play two matches in one day. It's a really important title for me because it's my first title in Premier Padel, a circuit that listens to the players. I hope we keep growing together," said Fernando Belasteguin after the match.

The final result was 6/3 3/6 6/3 for Belasteguin and Coello to win their fourth title of the year, and their first on the Premier Padel circuit.

Next week the last tournament of the Premier Padel season will take place in Italy, with the P1 of Milan.
