Tello won the tight prestige match — to the final in Mexico

ANNONS

Juan Tello won the prestigious match against his former partner Federico Chingotto. Tello and Paquito Navarro are now set for their first final together.

Juan Tello and Paquito Navarro take on Franco Stupaczuk and Pablo Lima in the final of the WPT Mexico Open. This after winning against Federico Chingotto and Javi Garrido in a close match that ended 7-5, 3-6, 7-5.

It was the first time Juan Tello and Federico Chingotto faced each other since they recently broke.

The connection on the court between Juan Tello and Paquito Navarro looks better, and Navarro looks more comfortable in his new position.

In the final, they face the best player of the tournament: Franco Stupaczuk, together with Pablo Lima. The pair are in good form and had no trouble easily winning the semi-final against Alex Ruiz and Momo Gonzalez, 6-2, 6-3.

Neither Juan Lebron/Alejandro Galan nor Fernando Belasteguin/Arturo Coello are in the Mexico Open. Both pairs are reported to be playing Premier Padel in Mexico next week.

The men's final will be played after the women's, which starts at 3 pm local time.
