Favourites set for Mexico Open final

Paula Josemaria/Ari Sanchez and Gemma Triay/Alejandra Salazar are through to the final of the last tournament of the year before the Masters Final. 

It was Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar who had the toughest semi-final. They won their match against Marta Ortega and Bea Gonzalez 7-6, 7-5. While Ari Sanchez and Paula Josemaria had an easier task as they won 6-2, 6-1 against Patty Llaguno and Virginia Riera. 

It's even between the pairs in the Race of 2022, with Sanchez and Josemaria narrowly leading with 14,815 points to Salazar and Triay's 14,230 points. 

The final in Mexico starts at 3 pm local time.
