Queretaro champions and season kings

Maxi Arce and Franco Dal Bianco were crowned champions of the last APT Master of the season, after beating the number two pairing of the circuit, Tito Allemandi and Tolito Aguirre, 7/6 6/4 in the final in Queretaro.

The final of the last tournament of the APT regular season faced in Mexico the first and second couples of the circuit. It was the fifth time that both pairings had met this year, with four victories for Allemandi and Aguirre.

In a very close match, Arce and Dal Bianco managed to strike the first blow, taking the first set in the tiebreak. In the second part, a single break would tilt the scoreboard again in favor of the number ones, who took the match in two sets. The final score was 7/6 6/4 to Arce and Dal Bianco, who won their sixth title of the season.

The victory has a very special taste for the young Argentinians, as the points got in the Queretaro Master will ensure that they will finish the year as number one couple in the APT 2022 ranking.

With this tournament, the APT concluded its regular season. The last event of the circuit will be in Guadalajara, which will host the Grand Master Final from 7 to 11 December. There, the sixteen best players of 2022 will close the year.
