Lebron and Galan conquer "La Rural" for the first time: "Juan deserved this tournament"

In the mythical Argentinean "Rural" and in front of a packed stadium, the world number ones showed all their power, and won the final of the WPT Master of Buenos Aires against Fernando Belasteguin and Arturo Coello.

Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron faced Fernando Belasteguin and Arturo Coello in the final of the WPT Buenos Aires Master.

The number ones came into the match full of confidence, without dropping a single set in the entire tournament. Bela and Coello, on the other hand, were looking for the victory to reach the number two ranking in the 2022 Race.

The match started with both pairings playing patiently and trying to impose their game. The action was evenly matched, but it was finally the number ones who, after overcoming three set points from their opponents, prevailed in the tiebreak to take the first set.

The confidence of getting the advantage led Lebron and Galan to feel more comfortable on the court. The Spanish couple showed all their talent and took the match by 7/6 and 6/2, in one hour and twenty-four minutes of play.

"I am very happy that Juan has achieved this title. This is a really important tournament, and he deserved it," said Ale Galan after the match.

In front of over 3000 Argentinian fans, Lebron and Galan defeated King Bela at home to win the third consecutive title, and the first one ever in Buenos Aires.

The pair will be back in action next week, when they take to the court at the Mexico Open, the last tournament of the regular season on the World Padel Tour.
