The first finalists of the Malmo Open are already known

The morning session of the WPT Malmo Open revealed the first two finalists of the tournament. In the women's draw, Salazar and Triay booked their ticket to the next round. In the men's semifinal, Galan and Lebron won convincingly against Tello and Navarro.

The first two pairings to compete in Sunday's finals are already known, and tomorrow they will look for the title of champions of the WPT Malmo Open.

Women’s draw

In the women's semifinals, world number twos, Gemma Triay and Ale Salazar, gave a real padel display against Marta Marrero and Delfina Brea, who couldn't find the answers to stop the magnificent game of their rivals.

Triay and Salazar played a perfect encounter against the number seven seeds, dropping only two games in the whole match. The final result was 6/1 6/1 in just one hour and fifteen minutes, for the world number two pairing to reach their fourteenth final of the season.

Men’s draw

Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello faced the world number ones, Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan, looking for a place in the final of the Malmo Open.

Lebron and Galan started the match extremely focused, imposing a fast and precise game, giving no options to Tello and Navarro to react. The world number ones showed all their attacking power and managed to take the match without difficulties by 6/2 and 6/4 in just one hour.

They now await the winner of the match between Tapia/Sanyo and Rubio/Arroyo.
