Former world number one Cecilia Reiter says goodbye to padel after over twenty-five years within the world elite.

The Argentinean player Cecilia Reiter has announced her retirement from professional padel. The former world number one ends her sporting career at 40, after over 25 years in the 20x10.
”The time has come to hang up my racket, and I do it with nostalgia and joy. I leave knowing that every day I stepped on the court, I tried to do my best," says Reiter.
The Argentinean was world number one alongside her partner, Carolina Navarro, with whom she shared the court for more than 12 years.
She achieved two World Cups with Argentina and more than 25 international titles to his name.
The legend participated in the Dubai World Championships with Argentina, achieving second place. A month ago, in the South American Games, she represented her country with Daiara Valenzuela, winning the gold medal, the last career title.
