They sweep the final – the one-tournament couple is crowned in valencia

The duo of Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz made their debut at the WPT Torrent Challenger in Valencia and won the title. In the final they won by a convincing 6/1 6/0 against another first time pairing, Miguel Lamperti and Lucho Capra.

The men's final of the WPT Torrent Challenger of Valencia, faced the couples one and two seeded, with the particularity that both pairs had been formed only for this competition: On the one hand, the Spanish couple of Coki Nieto-Jon Sanz, and on the other hand the Argentinians Miguel Lamperti and Lucho Capra. 

The Spaniards showed their intentions from the start, and with a fast and aggressive game, they quickly climbed up the scoreboard. Displaying great dominance and quality in their play, Nieto and Sanz took the match without allowing their opponents to barely make a move. The final result was a crushing 6/1 6/0 that gave Coki and Sanz the title of champions.

The champions will return to action this week at the WPT Malmo Open, but now each will do so with their usual partners. Nieto will take part alongside Martin Di Nenno as the tournament's number six couple, while Sanz will play with Brazilian Lucas Campagnolo.
