World champions in Dubai - Argentina is back to winning ways

Argentina was crowned world champion again, after beating Spain in the World Padel Championship in Dubai, thus getting revenge for the last final lost.

After almost eight and a half hours of intense matches, the Argentine men's padel team managed to win the title of world champions once again, beating Spain in a hard fought final series. Everything was defined in the third match, with the "Boss" Fernando Belasteguin as the protagonist.

Lebron and Navarro gave the first point to the Spanish team, after coming from behind against Chingotto and Tapia. The Spaniards capitalized on the physical problems suffered by Tapia in the third set, and took the match by 3/6 7/5 and 6/3, after three hours of play.

In the second match, Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno gave a real padel lesson, and swept Arturo Coello and Alejandro Galan off the court by 6/3 6/2.

The final set would be for Argentina, thanks to the endless Fernando Belasteguin and Sanyo Gutierrez, who with their experience managed to beat Alex Ruiz and Momo Gonzalez by 6/4 5/7 and 6/3.

Argentina is back to winning ways, achieving its eleventh World Cup title in history, widening the gap with Spain, which has four.
