How the first day of the World Cup is played
The group stage of the XVI World Padel Tournament in Dubai has started. The 17 participating teams are ready to see who will become the champion. Padel Alto tells you how the first round of the world cup will be.
The wait is over, and the biggest tournament in world padel is finally starting: The Dubai World Padel Championship is here.
The group stage begins today and will take place between 31 October and 2 November. This year' s edition of the tournament will have 17 teams divided into three groups of four teams (A, B and C) and one group of five teams (D).
The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals, the third teams from each group will compete for positions nine to twelve, while the rest of the teams will fight for positions thirteen to seventeen.
All matches of the opening phase will be broadcasted on the FIP YouTube channel.
