Argentina's nigthmare – star suffers physical problems just five days before World Cup

Argentinian player Martin Di Nenno had to withdraw from the match he was playing in the last 32 of the Egypt Premier Padel after receiving attention on the court due to physical problems.

Martin Di Nenno and Coki Nieto - the number five seeded couple of the tournament - were eliminated from the Egypt Premier Padel due to WO after a physical discomfort suffered by the Argentinean player. The couple had to abandon the match that had been pending from yesterday against Manzanares and Chamero, who reached the last sixteen.

Although it is not yet known what physical reason forced Di Nenno to leave the court, the news is worrying for the Argentine national team, which could lose one of its stars just five days before the start of the World Cup.

According to sources to Padel Alto, the illness is due to a virus, which caused the player to have a fever and vomiting.

Di Nenno will spend the night in the hospital, although his general condition is good, and he expects to be discharged tomorrow.
