New swap: She will be Icardo's new partner

Tamara Icardo and Lucia Sainz's collaboration was short-lived. Icardo is now entered for the Mexico Open with Marta Talavan. 

When Delfi Brea left Tamara Icardo to play with Marta Marrero, it was a straight swap where Icardo paired up with Marrero's old partner, Lucia Sainz.

But the pairing will be short-lived. When the entry list for the Mexico Open came out yesterday, we had another straight swap. Tamara Icardo joins forces with Marta Talavan and Lucia Sainz with Portuguese Sofia Araujo.

Sainz and Icardo are now playing the Menorca Open together. Before the Mexico Open, the Swedish Padel Open will be played. It is unclear if the switch will occur until then or if the pairs will switch to Mexico. 

Araujo and Talavan have had a good season together, beating out Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay, among others.

Tamara Icardo and Lucia Sainz have had a tough season with many injuries. Both were therefore missing from Spain's national team squad for the Dubai World Cup, which starts in two weeks.
