Octagon obtains funding for the development of Premier Padel in Spain

Octagon, the marketing agency for the promotion and commercial management of padel events of the International Federation in Spain, has agreed to give entry to the board to Oriol Cortada, manager of Tripelsum.

The company has achieved the financing it sought to develop the professional circuit, Premier Padel, in Spain. As the owner of the rights to the padel tournament, it has given a stake in the tournament to the Tripelsum, a family office based in Barcelona. 

This is reported by the Spanish site Cluster Padel. 

Octagon is the world's largest creative marketing and sponsorship consultancy and a pioneer and leader in the representation and management of athletes and personalities. They work with sports such as basketball and baseball. 

Oriol Cortada, strategy director of the investment group, joins the board of directors of Premier Padel Spain, a company created by Octagon for the promotion and commercial exploitation of padel events organized by the International Padel Federation in Spain.

The marketing agency, representation of athletes, and organizer of competitions, Octagon, has assumed the management of the sale of audiovisual rights, sponsorships, and the box office business of Premier Padel Madrid.

The first event in Madrid was held last summer at the WiZink Centre in the capital's city center. The Government of the Community of Madrid sponsored the event and contributed 180,000 euros.
