Sanchez after advancing and the tight game schedule: ”My body was at the limit”

Ari Sanchez and Paula Josemaria are through to the semi-finals of the Amsterdam Open after a long and hard-fought victory over Veronica Virseda and Barbara Las Heras. After the match, Sanchez was finished.

The couple is in the form of their lives together. Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez have taken four titles in a row as newly crowned world number one and number one in the Race of 2022. There could be a fifth in Amsterdam as the team is now through to the semi-finals.

But it was a tough quarter-final that ended 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 after two hours and 27 minutes against Veronica Virseda and Barbara Las Heras.
