— We want to keep growing, says their coach Mati Ortiz to Padel Alto before the semi-final.

The world one's, two's, and three's are out of the Madrid Masters on the men's side after Friday, where the crowd was treated to a day full of surprises.

However, some who withstood the pressure were Lucho Capra and Maxi Sanchez, who won their quarter-final against Javi Garrido and Lucas Campagnolo in a decisive tiebreak. This, after 2 hours and 50 minutes of play.

In fact, the pair came close to being eliminated in the first round, when they also won in a decisive tiebreak in the third set against Jaime Munoz and Ignacio Vilarino.

Now they face Momo Gonzalez and Alex Ruiz in a semi-final.

How do you recharge after such tough matches?

— Physio, rest and enjoy. We already thinking about what is coming tomorrow, every game is a chance, and we will be there.

What will you do in your game plan to win against Momo and Alex tomorrow?

— We must keep playing with the same game spirit in defense and attack. The court is fast, and we must be focused on our game. We have been fighting many games, but we want to keep growing, says Mati Ortiz to Padel Alto after the quarter-final.
