Galan and Lebron come from behind to win the title in Sweden

Alejandro Galan and Juaan Lebron achieved the comeback in Sweden, to end up taking the final of the Swedish Padel Open against Navarro and Di Nenno, by 6/7 6/2 6/1.

For the final of the WPT Swedish Open, the first and third pairings of the WPT rankings faced each other. For Lebron and Galan it was their eleventh final of the season, showing the great moment they are going through. On the other side, Navarro and Di Nenno were looking for their second WPT title of the year, trying to recover the level they showed last season.

The match started extremely even, with both pairings playing at a high level, but in the end it was Paco and Martin who managed to take the first set in the tiebreak, after an hour and ten minutes. But from the second set everything changed, Lebron and Galan seemed to wake up, increased the intensity in their game and were clearly superior, taking the second and third set by 6/2 6/1. 

"We had never won in Sweden and I had promised my partner, so I'm very happy. We managed to play at our best in the second and third sets, which is what you need to win this kind of match”. Said Ale Galan after the match.

Next week at the Madrid World Padel Tour the pairing will try to win their third Master title of the season.
