Favourites to the semi-final after match points against them ”You have to fight to win”

It was a thriller to the quarter-finals as Marta Ortega, and Bea Gonzalez won to take on the legendary Carolina Navarro and super talent Claudia Jensen. 

Despite the favoritism of the world's third-best pair, this was long young Claudia Jensen and experienced Carolina Navarro's match. The first set ended 6-1, and in the second, they had one break up. 

In the end, the second set was a thriller. Both teams had match points in the tiebreak, but in the end, Marta Ortega and Bea Gonzalez managed to break and won 11-9 in the tiebreak.

Tomorrow, the pair will now face world number one Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar in a semi-final. They will seek revenge after losing Claudia Jensen and Carolina Navarro last week.

In the other semi-final, Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez will face Veronica Virseda and Barbara Las Heras.
