Matias del Moral and Santiago Frugoni take the APT Future title in La Rioja

Argentinians Matias del Moral and Santiago Frugoni were crowned champions in their homeland after beating Javi Reiter and Leo Yob 6/3 6/4 in the final of the APT Future de La Rioja tournament.

As a prelude to the APT La Rioja Open tournament (Argentina), Matias del Moral and Santiago Frugoni were crowned champions of the La Rioja Future1000. The Argentineans completed a sensational tournament, and after getting rid of favourites Chozas and De Pascual in the semifinals, imposed themselves with authority in the final against Reiter and Yob in two sets.

"I am very happy. I wanted to give Mati a victory in front of his home crowd, and I did it. But our couple is not satisfied, and wants more victories, more titles and hopefully the next one will be at the Rioja Open." said Frugoni after the match.

The couple will make their debut at the next La Rioja Open on Tuesday 6th, when they will face Juan Dip and Pablo Egea at the Superdomo stadium, a 13000 capacity venue.
