The Argentines won the first historic FIP Platinum competition

Argentines Juan Belluati and Agustin Silingo won the first edition of the FIP Platinum. The final was won in three sets against Spaniards Pablo Lijo and Javi Ruiz. 

It was an uncertain final between two evenly matched teams. And it would be a third set to decide who stood as the winner of the FIP Platinum competition in Veneto, Italy. 

The first set was won by a large margin by the Spanish pair, Javi Ruiz and Pablo Lijo, 6-2. After that, Belluati and Silingo came into the match and won the second set 6-2.

The Argentinians came out on top in the deciding set, winning 6-3. The match was decided after one hour and 49 minutes of play.
