Here are the Main draws at the WPT Cascais Open

After the summer break, action returns to the World Padel Tour with the Cascais Open. The main draw has already been settled, and we can expect some really exciting encounters.

World Padel Tour Cascais Open will kick off the second part of the season. The Portuguese tournament will get underway on Saturday with the Men's qualifying rounds, but the main draw will start on Tuesday. The draw was made yesterday, and the couples' paths to the title are already known.

Men’s draw

The Men's main draw will start on Tuesday 6th September with the round of 32, which will be completed on Wednesday 7th September. The 4 seeded couples will be exempt from playing the first round, and as usual in all Open tournaments will start the competition in the Round of 16.

Couples one and two divide the draw into two parts and each of them can only meet in a hypothetical final. At the top of the draw we find couples like: (1) Juan Lebron/Alejandro Galan, (4) Franco Stupaczuk/Pablo Lima, (6)Alex Ruiz/Momo Gonzalez or (8)Maxi Sanchez/Lucho Capra. While at the bottom of the draw we find (2) Paquito Navarro/Martín Di Nenno, (3) Sanyo Gutiérrez/Agustín Tapia, (5) Juan Tello/Fede Chingotto, (7) Arturo Coello/Fernando Belasteguín.

Women’s draw

The girls will make their tournament debut on Wednesday, and like the boys, the 4 seeded couples will start their participation in the next round on Thursday.

From the first day, the draw has left high level matches, highlighting the one that will face the last winners of the Bajo Aragon Challenger Virseda and Las Heras, against the couple number 6 of the circuit, Brea and Icardo.

At the top of the draw, alongside (1) Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay we find (3) Marta Ortega and Bea Gonzalez, (6) Tamara Icardo and Delfina Brea, (8) Mapi and Majo Sanchez Alayeto. While on the side of (2) Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria, we find (4) Marta Marrero and Lucia Sainz, (5) Virginia Riera and Patty Llaguno, (7) Victoria Iglesias and Aranza Osoro.
