FIP TOUR debuts its highest tournament category in Veneto

FIP will debut this week in Italy its new tournament category: FIP Platinum. The Veneto Platinum tournament will be the first in the highest category of the circuit, and will award €120000 in prize money and 200 points to the winners.

The first FIP TOUR Platinum level tournament starts this week in Veneto, Italy. This new competition category - the highest on the tour - will award 120,000 euros in prize money and 200 points to the winners, making it very attractive to top level couples.

The qualifying rounds will end today - both Men's and Women's categories - giving way to the final draw, which will take place from 31 August to 4 September.

Among the couples registered for the tournament, it is worth mentioning the participation - as top seeded couple - of the last champions of the WPT Challenger of Bajo Aragon, Veronica Virseda and Barbara Las Heras. The Argentinean couple Agustin Gomez Silingo/Juan Cruz Belluati will be seeded in the Men's draw.
